Greater Than operates greaterthanlabs.com. This notice covers visits to the website, including our app landing pages, Journal, and support and legal pages. Information handled within our apps is described in their separate privacy policies: Jiyi and Caffemeter.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics uses cookies and related technologies, including browser identifiers, to measure visits and interactions. Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser that can help recognize it across visits.
Information collected through website analytics includes:
- Pages visited, page addresses and titles, and website interactions.
- Referring websites and campaign information in links used to reach our website.
- Browser and device characteristics, language, and approximate location.
- Clicks on Jiyi App Store links, including the destination and where the link appeared on the page, such as the top of the page or the footer.
Google receives information from your browser when analytics runs, including your IP address. Google uses IP addresses to derive approximate location information for GA4.
We use this information to understand interest in our products, assess which promotional links bring visitors to the website and App Store, and improve the website. Our reporting tools also use website analytics exports in Google BigQuery to prepare internal reports comparing visits and App Store clicks. An App Store click does not, by itself, tell us whether you installed an app.

Website delivery and communications
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives technical request information, such as your IP address, the requested page address, and browser information, to deliver the website and help protect it against abuse.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your inquiry and handle your request.
Your choices
You can use your browser settings to review, delete, or block cookies. These settings generally apply to the browser and device where you make the change. Blocking cookies may affect website functionality and does not necessarily prevent all information from being sent to Google or our hosting provider.
Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Follow Google's instructions to install and enable it in each browser where you want to use it. The add-on affects Google Analytics; it does not stop other website services from receiving information.
